Cozy Home in Pinehurst

The house is located in Pinehurst, just north of the Northgate area. According to our community council, Pinehurst is "a growing and progressive neighborhood in NE Seattle, Washington. The general boundaries are NE 130th Street, 5th Ave NE, Northgate Way, and Lake City Way."

Ammenities

There are a couple of bars, a great Thai restaurant, two Ethiopian restaurants and of course TOYODA SUSHI! all within walking distance.

There is every restaurant imaginable in Northgate Mall and surrounds. The new Thornton Creek development with movice theater and shops.

The Post Office and Lake City Library are both less than a mile away. There is a Safeway two blocks from the house and a QFC about 0.75 miles down the street, both very easy to walk or bike to. Fred Meyer is also less than a mile away.

Transportation

Bus #41 Gets you downtown in about 2 min via Northgate P&R

Bus #73 Gets you downtown via the U-district in about 35 min

I-5 is only about 1 mile away (the backyard is surprisingly quiet for it being so close).

The house has a sizeable front and back yard. The backyard has one 8X18' and two 4x8' organic garden beds. There is also a row of blueberry bushes, a couple of columnar apple trees and a pear tree. There is a deck off the second upstairs bedroom, perfect for grilling!

Living Room/Dining Room

The living room has a woodstove (and there is plenty of firewood in the backyard). It gets the house nice and toasty in the dark December and January months!

Kitchen

The kitchen has been remodeled in the last 5 years. It features all stainless appliances. A gas range and oven, a very large fridge (good for sharing with roommates), microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. The kitchen also features a slat floor and granite counter tops. Great if you love to cook!

Bathroom

The house has one bath upstairs. There is room for storage of towels and toiletries in the cabinet and three drawers in the bathroom seen in the first picture. In addition there is a large linen closet just outside the batroom door.

Bedrooms

The house has three bedrooms, one master bedroom upstairs that is approximately 12' x 12' and a second bedroom upstairs with an entrace that leads to the deck and the backyard that is approximately 10' x 10'. The third is in the basement and is approximately 12' x 10'.

The master bedroom. All the windows in the house have custom Hunter-Douglas blinds. The blinds in the bedroom windows lower from the top and bottom.

The master bedroom closet is large, with three drawers underneath and shelving on the inside sides of the closet.

The third bedroom in the basement has been recently remodeled. There are bamboo floors and new paint.
